News About T-Mobile and Nokia Officially Unveil Nokia Astound
Since there are some other shinier devices expected to be officially claimed by the Big Magenta in the CTIA 2011, Nokia Astound somehow seems to be a not really favorable handset. Regardless, here we are now, looking at the official announcement of the Nokia Astound, known abroad as Nokia C7, by the carrier. Issued earlier that it would come as Nokia Tiger, the Astound is the x device from the biggest cell phone manufacturer ever bound to U.S. carrier; as we know that Nokia’s devices are more Europe and Asia-friendly. Anyway, the handset will be available on April 6th for $79.99 after rebate.
The Astound boast an 8 megapixel camera with a 3.5″ capacitive touch AMOLED display. It’s the second T-mo’s handset built with 8 megapixel shooter. For such a small device, the features offered are big enough to please you. Despite the Symbian 3 OS, which is not really favorable among mobile phone users and which the Finnish Company is rumored to give up soon, the handset packs some worth seeing features like 720p video playing and recording capability and free turn by turn directions through Nokia and Ovi. It might not win over the Android devices but surely the handset’s got some nice appeal.
