News About HTC HD7: Good Quality Call; Fine yet Imperfect Web Browser

As any common smartphones, HTC HD7 won’t likely bring their users much trouble, even if they’re heavy travelers. The handset is a quad band GSM world phone. It’s an EDGE and 3G HSDPA (the older T-mo’s network) enabled phone and connected to T-Mobile‘s AWS 1700/2100MHz bands. A trusted source stated that its call quality is pretty good that you won’t find anything troubling you, though its signal reception is not the best. The source said that often the number of its signal bars appeared to be one less, in comparison to Samsung Vibrant, BlackBerry 3G and T-Mobile G2. But it’s still on the same quality as another high end smartphones, the myTouch 4G, which is also built by HTC.

Since the handset is only a 3G enabled device, you cannot enjoy the real world fast speed download from T-mobile’s recently upgraded 4G HSPA+. But some sources claim that the HD7 still can benefit from what is believed as the closest to 4G speed network (T-mo’s HSPA+ network has been proved to be the fastest 4G-like network many times). Regardless of that, the 3G speed doesn’t seem to bring you down at all. The same source meant above said that they could enjoy downloading apps and watching TV program streamed from MobiTV, without any serious disturbing lag. The process flew smoothly. Furthermore, compared to the old Windows Mobile, its HTML web browser is distinctly ahead, though it’s a bit slower than the Safari of the iPhone or the Android web browser, plus it lack the Flash Player support.
