Lenovo-K800 Lenovo K800 Price, Review, Specs, cell phone reviews, Lenovo K800 is the new entry smartphone this year after announced at CES 2012, Lenovo K800 is ready to buzz its competitor in smartphone market by bringing an Intel Medfield processor. Seem surprise with this step as their lack experience in the mobile handset market.

Those who use Lenovo K800 for the first time will be totally caught unprepared by its blistering fast performance, there’s no hesitation and everything simply snaps into place. Unlike other smartphones, the Lenovo K800 represents a major change as it is powered by Intel’s new mobile processor, the 1.6 GHz Atom Z2460 processor with 512kb of L2 cache. The Intel’s Medfield has been long discussed by the tech community and finally we see it in real flesh.

The Z2460 is a dual-core processor, which will also debut in Motorola devices later this year. Benchmarks showed that the phone is about 20-30 percent faster than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Many analysts currently consider Galaxy Nexus as the fastest device along with the Apple iPhone 4S.

As the flagship phone for the new Intel platform, the Lenovo K800 is not quite what we expected. It is a lot more bulky than most high-end handsets but in the hand it feels rather nice. The angular design is not as sleek as some phones, but overall is nice to look at and the matte black plastic rear felt nice in the hand. With a thickness of 10mm, the device appears quite chunky compared to other handsets on the market such as the Samsung Galaxy S II and the forthcoming Huawei Ascend PS 1.

The Lenovo K800 comes with a 4.5” display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, which can produce crisp video quality and users can even watch movies played on the phone directly on the TV with no cables requires. The phone has an 8Mp rear-facing camera, with HD recording capability, however you shouldn’t compare it with image and video quality produced by a dedicated camera. The Lenovo K800 isn’t exactly the most attractive phone, but it has the slimness and finish that we have come to expect from high-end smartphones. It also includes supports for HSPA+ data connection (21Mbps), which is already enough for most usages. Unfortunately, the Lenovo K800 is available only in China, but it should be considered as a proof that Intel Atom can finally get into today’s mobile device.
