I’m sure most people will think that Galaxy S 4G looks almost like the Vibrant at the first time they see it. Despite its front-facing camera, Galaxy S 4G bears the same looks as Vibrant since it has 4” outstanding display. The chrome surrounding it makes it look solid even though the device has no metal cover.
The Vibrant used to annoy us with its back black glossy plastic cover that always gets slippery as our hands grip it. The discomfort has made Vibrant somehow look lame. Luckily, Samsung heard our voices. It fixed the problem as they built Galaxy S 4G by changing the back black glossy plastic cover with an interesting matte plastic with a faux metallic finish that makes it possible to amazingly change color as you put it under the sunlight. But the main thing is it’s not slippery anymore like Vibrant was.

Still, there is no ivory without a crack, so is the Galaxy S 4G. Although it’s made a great improvement, regarding its design, I personally think it’s ridiculous to place the power button directly across the volume controls. It makes the chance of accidentally pushing the button higher. Of course, we don’t want that to happen, besides it will drain the battery to switch it on again, it’s really annoying. Anyway, the micro USB port stays under a sliding door as it did on the Vibrant, and the 3.5mm jack is up top. In spite of its little in size speakers, the device does a really good work at delivering the sounds.
